About Forest Park Academy
Forest Park Academy is one of two program schools in Roanoke City School District. Students who attend Forest Park Academy are dedicated to academic and personal success. It is led by Program Director Patricia Maxey and Assistant Principal Jean Dixon.

Our Vision
Forest Park Academy is a nurturing, safe, and professional environment that supports the educational success and social, emotional, and physical development of all students. Courses are academic, engaging, and standards-based, with a focus on the learner.
- School staff is comprised of highly qualified and caring instructors who are attentive to the educational, cultural, and physical needs of students and the Forest Park Academy community.
- Parents will be positive, supporting members of the school community.
