New: Beginning June 9th, access your student's Virginia Assessment Program test results, including SOL scores! Click here to download instructions. Families can review the Student Detail by Question Report for each test completed in fall and spring. This report provides information about every test question answered, including a descriptive phrase about the test item, item difficulty, Standard of Learning number, and whether the student answered it correctly or incorrectly. 


ParentVUE is a secure web-based information management system that provides parents/guardians the ability to view their child's assignments, grades, attendance and contact information. The student version of the program is called StudentVUE. Families can also complete enrollment forms and personal information verification online through ParentVUE.

Both ParentVUE and StudentVUE can be accessed from any internet-connected device with a current web browser. Apps for both iOS and Android smartphones are available.

How Can I Use ParentVue?

ParentVue allows families to:

• View grades and information about your student's classwork
• View your student's attendance
• Change personal information, such as your phone number
• Complete enrollment forms for new students
• Verify and update personal information for existing students
• New: Access Virginia Assessment Program test results, including Standards of Learning (SOL), Virginia Alternate Assessment Program (VAAP), and local performance assessments

If you have more than one new or returning student to register with RCPS, you must complete registration information for all your students prior to clicking the submit button. Once your information has been reviewed and accepted, your child’s school will contact you by phone or email for the next steps. 

Sign Up for ParentVue

  1. You must first obtain an activation code from your student’s school by calling the school or visiting the school's main office.
  2. Once you have the activation code, click here.
  3. Click "I am a parent." You will be taken to the ParentVue login screen.
  4. Click "I have an activation key and need to create my account" on the right.
  5. Accept the privacy agreement.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to create your account using your activation key.
  7. Open the email sent by the system and click on the link to complete the account create process.
  8. Enter User ID (your primary email address.) Enter a password and confirm. Click "Save and Continue."

Once you are logged in, all information for your student will be visible by selecting the options on the left of the screen.

Enroll in RCPS using ParentVue

Please have the following information available:

  • Student's Birth Certificate (or Affidavit)
  • Emergency contact phone number(s)
  • Previous school year information

The following forms will need to be provided or completed in person for enrollment:

  • RCPS Student Health Form
  • Student Code of Conduct Booklet
  • Proof of Residency
  • Birth Certificate
  • Social Security Card
  • Documentation of Custody
